“DIY” recruiting is not always the best!
Some companies try direct recruiting but scanning the websites hoping to find the right profile takes effort and time. The result can be finding the round peg for the square hole!
Some candidates feel submitting their CV via the Internet is like sending your resume into oblivion. Many prefer meeting a recruiter, discuss their profile, target suitable companies directly and know their resume gets seen.
A good recruiter finds the square peg to fit the square hole. They discuss the needs with the client, pre-select profiles that match the requirements and add their personal interview comments. This is already the shortlist so all should be seen and at least one will be the right one. The recruiter’s job is to continue in the process until an employment contract is signed – and still keep contact to make sure both parties are happy.
“DIY” does not save money – pay the expert to do the job they are trained to do.
